Built in 2002, the Deep Blue is the newest and the fastest dive yacht in the Galápagos Islands. The Deep Blue accommodates 16 passengers in 9 spacious cabins, all with lower beds, private bathroom and air conditioning. Large social areas, sun deck and salon, the Deep Blue is a spacious and comfortable vessel with plenty of room for 16 divers. Underwater photographers will find there are two camera tables and a huge rinse tank.

Crew:
8 friendly local crew + 2 diveguides. We have 2 Guides on board, for every cruise, we have 3 guides with the company, one of them is Joffre Herrera, was born in Galapagos, studied 2 years of marine biology, has been a Galapagos National Park Guide for 15 years, and has been for 6 years a Marine Reserve Guide, he is a Dive Master.
Nicolas Vera, was born in Santa Cruz, Galapagos, he is a PADI Instructor, has been a Galapagos National Park guide for 14 years and a Marine Reserve Guide for 6 years.
Alejandro Tipan was also born in Galapagos, and has been a Galapagos National Park guide for 10 years and he is a Dive Master.
All crew are required to comply with the Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) and are trained and certified by the Ecuador Marine Regulations that include emergency first aid and provision of oxygen.

Cabin Facilities:
8 Air conditioned spacious cabins with two beds and private bathrooms, and 1 double berth cabin with ensuite bathroom.
4 Upper deck cabins have Queen and Twin berths and large picture windows.
Lower deck cabins have two twin berths and port holes.
All cabins have plentiful drawer, closet hanging space, and hairdryers.
Bed linen are changed every other day on a 8 day cruise and Towels are changed every day.
Laundry service is unlimited, you may wash and dry at any time during the trip.
Amenities:
Large comfortable saloon with bar, Television and entertainment center, large sundeck, spacious divedeck, and a small library.
TV and DVD player in saloon has DVD’s with variety of movies and music CD´s.
We have loungers on the sun deck and will have a BBQ for outside dining.
The partially covered dive deck at the stern has individual gear lockers and 2 shower with hot & cold water for rinsing off after dives. The camera area with 2 camera tables is just next to this and has a large rinse tank and dry area for storage.
Hot drinks and snacks and warm towels are offered after every dive
Tenders:
We have 2 Zodiac tenders of 6.20 mts, with 2x50 HP outboard motors, 4 stroke each.
Meals & Drinks:
All meals, snacks, soda, soft drinks and juice, are included. Beer and wine are to be purchased on board (unfortunately we bring alcoholic beverages from the main land, because it is very expensive on the island). Bar costs for a beer is $2, a bottle of wine $28
ALL MEALS ARE BUFFET STYLE that include everything you find on a hotel BUFFET, tropical fruits(organic) we have our own farm where we raise our own chicken, pork and fruit., local and international cuisine - Each morning, breakfast includes fresh fruits, cereals and juices, milk, soy milk, with hot entrée (ham, bacon, sausage, etc) Lunches feature hot soups, salads and/or entrées, that include, beef, pork and chicken that are raised at our farm, Dinners are diverse, including seafood, beef or chicken. Each evening, enjoy fresh homemade desserts - Please notify our office of any special dietary requests and feel free to bring your favorite candy or snack, also fresh fish is served, every week local fishermen supply us with all type of seafood.

For payments on board we only accept cash and travel checks.

We have 110 and 220 electric power and US and European PLUGS.

Oxygen System with 100% demand, Automatic Fire and Smoke Detection System, Manual Fire extinguishers and Fire Fighting Equipment, Drills and Procedures conducted by crew, 406 EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon), Safety Flags and Dive Alerts - 2 Life Rafts. Life Jackets equipped with lights and whistles for all passengers and crew. - Full Complement of Safety and Rescue Equipment.

Booking conditions:
For individuals a non-refundable deposit of 33% is due within 10 days of booking, and final payment due 90 days prior to departure.
